Today me and neon_ice went to see Ice Age 3; it was a really good film and if your a fan of the previous 2 you should see this one ^_^ luckily because we saw an early showing there were very few people in the screening room we were in. Usually I try to avoid watching films like this at the cinema because there are usually lots of loud kids watching, but today was good! I really liked the designs of the dinosaurs and the new characters.

Last night I ordered a pizza using the Internet for the first time o____o it was awesome! The pizza arrived in about 15 - 20 mins. Much easier than calling them.

Lastly, Ive changed my mood theme ^.^ I requested a riolu mood set, my request was answered and created by the talented sapphire_heaven. The mood theme was put up today on cute_moodthemes. Yay! =D

My friend dragontattooist has just opened an Etsy shop :) she makes lovely beaded items, charms, necklaces, bracelets etc. If you like kawaii stuff you should take a look!

Yesterday me, neon_ice and my mum went to Burley Village in the New Forest to meet up with dragontattooist, Alex and Kane (their doggy) ^_^ it was our first meet and the day went really well. It got pretty hot at points but luckily I was wearing a hat/bandana so it didnt effect me too bad at the time. I had an awesome time walking around the village - we also got to sit down after a while and have an awesome milkshake made with real dairy ice cream <3

Later on, we had a walk into the forest/plains. The views were gorgeous and we saw a few horses along the way (they were everywhere! They were so used to humans and traffic that they were totally relaxed walking around the village, people and vehicles). Even though the horses were all wild, some of them seemed pretty happy to just randomly approach people for a stroke.

We had to leave around 2:30pm because my mum had to get back/our parking ticket had run out. But I really enjoyed visiting Burley again after such a long time, think the last time I wetn was at least 8 years ago (if not more). So thanks again for metting up with us Kate, it was really awesome to meet you =D and thank you again for the awesome bracelet <3 I can see why they are so popular!

As you can see, there is a "witchy" theme in the village, a lot of the shops sell related items. If you go to the Burley website (like above) youll find out why ;)

About a week ago it was raining, and I happened to be around to see a huge rainbow in the sky ^.^ it wasnt easy to take a photo of it with my camera but here it is (photo taken from my garden)...

Feels like summer has actually hit my part of the UK now, lol. For the past week its been super hot, a little too hot for my liking but at least the good weather has mean much more walking about and trips.

Not much has happened since I last updated this... but there are a few interesting games coming out later in the year; like Pokemon heart gold/soul silver as well as Peggle DS, an english version of my fossil diggers game (yay!) and Starfy is also going to have an english translation soon.

As well as games, I have tons of new Pokemon merchandise to look forwards to with the release of the 12th movie as well as the new DS games launched later this year in Japan!!!

I also managed to get lucky on monday - I got a Moltres egg from the GPX Plus!

Next month Ill be heading over to the annual Pow Wow at Bush Farms - a bisson farm in the UK. There will be lots of native american crafts and stuff to look at! Im also hoping to visit Burley Village by next month too (near the new forest). I will also planning days out to Marwell zoo as well as an otter, owl and wildlife park later in the year. For now I am looking forwards to a quiet weekend with a possible BBQ happening on Sunday ^___^

A litle while ago I took the Infernape plush that I got from Minami Con 15 outside - I took a picture of him in the sun ^_^ its still really bright out there but acording to the weather its meant to cool down later in the week. I guess thats our week of summer already over! XD

My bedroom is fairly small, so I have to be careful how many plush/figures I buy >_> (hense why some of my collection is in storage). The main way I also keep my collection under control is to sell of some of the whim purchases Ive made in the past - if I didnt do this my room would look pretty cluttered ^_^;

Also, ignore the condition of my wallpaper >_> it needs replacing, this will most likely happen when my mum next gets a week off work. The current stuff sucks - its textured paper that was painted over, for some reason the combined paper/paint is sticky, and items stick to it when left in conact over a period of time (even though the paint dried YEARS ago).

Its a shame that the UK hardly has any Pokemon merchandise. 70% (if not more) of my collection has been purchased from the USA or directly from Japan - not that I mind as Ive made some great contacts/friends from doing so, but its just so annoying that the toy stores here never get anything new in. Infact, its been the opposite! They have been re-stocking the same old stuff or even not re-stocking at all ;__; I remember when Pokemon first came to the UK market... it was HUGE, toy stores etc had whole sections of the store crammed full of plush, figures, cards, clothes and more. And now I am lucky to even find a store that sells one or 2 figures!

Ive finally got around to typing up the Minami Con 15 report! Its pretty long, but I also have photos and a little video footage. neon_ice took lots of video footage but we havent gotten around to editing/cutting down all of the clips yet (I will post a link when those are up, which might not be for a couple of weeks yet).

Hi everyone :) Im back from the convention.... VERY tired, lots and lots of stuff to type about tomorrow! Ill also be uploading all the photos I took as well as some video footage to my youtube account.

Its hard to imagine that Minami Con 15 is only a couple of days away now! I am really excited yet a little nervous at the same time ^.^ Ive got everything ready, all thats left for me to do now is pack everything up on Thursday evening. On Friday Ill be travelling up with neon_ice in his car and when we arrive at the hotel we will be meeting up with truekitsune. Ill be taking 2 cosplays with me as well as my pokemon hoodie.

Tomorrow I am looking forwards to getting some more memory for my PC ^.^ Ill be upgrading from around 512K - 2GB. Its been a nessasary purchase since that latest version of ZL anti-virus just rapes mem usage o_o (Ive seen it use over 90,000K at one point). If things dont improve Ill have to switch over to a different anti-virus; which would be a huge shame since I still have over 500 days subscription left with ZL ;__; it was perfect until they released version 7 *sighs* (and Im not the only one to complain about this... lots of angry customers have ranted about it).

Ive also been playing Silent Hill Homecoming over the weekend. Good game, but the graphics (for a 360 game) arent as polished as they could be. But overall it ties in nicely as a "side story" to the Silent Hill series. As you may or may not know, the Japanese team that made the original Silent Hill (as well as Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4) did not make Homecoming or Origins. When I first discovered this on the Internet it put me off a little, but now I am so glad I gave it a try. The American team did a great job on the atmosphere, creatures and characters; definatly worth a play if you like the Silent Hill series. =D

So, Ive now finished all the Pokemon themed hoodies ^-^ these were made for me and a couple of friends to wear around Minami Con 15 (lol, Pokemon group!). Ive uploaded them all to DA now.

It took a while to get them all finished but Im happy with the results! Next up I plan on making a new plushie, which will hopefully be uploaded to DA within the next couple of weeks. I just need to make a pattern then I can start sewing.

This weekend I got to play a co-op game on The house of the dead: Overkill for the Wii. NeonIce got a couple of “hand cannon”s (light guns). We played through directors cut mode and unlocked a few things. Awesome game, lots of fun (if you liked the other house of the dead games, youll probably like this) but a little short lived if you cant be bothered to unlock the extra content and artwork. The best part has to be the style that this game was made in – 70’s B movie style XD …classic!

I also got to help NeonIce modify a red wig for his Axel (Kingdom Hearts) cosplay. Its come out looking really well (we got a basic red wig and cut it down then spiked it with clear drying craft glue). Im hoping a photo of the finished thing will be uploaded at DA soon :) all my cosplay stuff is all ready too (Riolu mascot style + Alucard).

I had a nice surprise waiting for me when I got home today ^_^ I had an unknown package arrive (yet I haven’t ordered anything).Opening it I found one of these inside! =D Many thanks to Truekitsune for the surprise gift! *hugs*

Today neon_ice and I went to the Bournemouth Oceanarium. It was a fantastic experience and I would be more than happy to go for another visit in the future ^-^ it was much better than the Weymouth Sea Life Centre - Bournemouth had much more in the way of sea life whereas Weymouth was more "child" focused, and mostly featured kids adventure play areas, a swimming pool and an arcade.

To make things even more epic, because of the recent bout of bad weather the UK has been getting, the place was almost EMPTY. Including us, there must have been a maximum of 10 people visiting the place XD so we had whole areas to ourselves 90% of the time. I took lots of great photos as this place allowed flash photography (with the exception of the "Abyss" as it housed deep sea fishes that don’t like the light).

We walked round the aquariums for a while, then went to watch the rays being fed, which was fantastic... the giant sea turtles were also getting fed :) and the rays were all dipping and diving about to get the food. An eel kept coming up to try and grab some of the ray’s food but was unsuccessful XD

Yes, I finally managed to get the video function working on my digital camera. I only took some short clips as I wasn’t sure how much space was left on my memory card, but it gives you an idea of what the place was like ^_^ I am hoping to do more amature filming in the near future of places I visit as well as events (like minami con).

I just read a journal entry from someone on my watch list at DeviantART. I think all DA users should take a look at this:

I noticed after reading this that a DA user that I had not seen before had left 2 comments on my main DA page, both of them had "CLICK HERE" links. I have hidden both comments to stop others from clicking on them too. Both links seemed to lead to a strange script page when I checked out the URL address (didnt click on em, just checked out the prefrences).

So, if you get some random user leave you any comments with random links like that, DONT CLICK THEM! Hide the comment and/or report spam, if you click on one of these links your DA username and password will get stolen.

So, suddenly I have a bunch of sewing to do ^_^; pretty much both of these ideas were last min thoughts and Ive just come back from town with all the materials I need. Keep en eye open for new uploads at DA within the next few weeks as Ill be makin...

Both items are going to take me about 2 or more days work. Im looking forwards to getting started on them though as I love a challenge =D I plan to have both done by the start of next month but I cant be posting photos of the mystery cosplay item until just after truekitsune's birthday (as the item will be a b-day gift).

Wow, the tamagotchi has had a huge upgrade as the latest models are released in Japan. Introducing the tamagotchi+color. It has a full colour backlit 1.52-inch TFT screen (128×128 resolution) and are retailing at $48 each, no word about a US/EU release yet but Im betting if they do come to the UK they will be £25 - £35 each (Ill probably end up buying one >_>).
